Currently Creative Director at Squiz UK. In a world of buzzwords you can say I do SD, CX, UX, UI.

With over 20 years commercial design experience across multiple design disciplines including product design & development, UX & UI design, interactive design, service design,  graphic design, and design strategy.

I specialise in UX and UI design (service design). My approach is to place emphasis on user needs, stories & journeys, wireframing and prototyping – thereby ensuring the rationale behind design decisions is based on meeting users and business objectives. I particularly enjoy the challenges of micro UX design.

As Creative Director at Squiz, I manage a UK team of designers and provide guidance and direction to global teams on international projects. I also direct User Experience workshops that range from IA card sorts to user journey mapping exercises and user/stakeholder research interviews.

My previous role was Creative Head of Design, UI and UX at The People’s Operator (TPO), where I collaborated daily with agile teams including stakeholders, project owners and developers. I also worked alongside sales, SEO and customer management colleagues.

I pride myself on the same dedication to quality design results – regardless the size of project or client. I have worked on projects for BP, O2, Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone and in Government, Higher Education and Publishing sectors.
